Steve Q is a fellow artist whose work I'm very excited to share. He's currently based in Washington State and is finishing up his degree at The Evergreen State College, but his hometown is in Virginia. His art is a mix of classic and current tattoo styles with a little of his own surreal flair mixed in. Paper, canvas and skin have all seen his artwork because he is also a professional tattoo artist.
Steve's current project is a blog and (eventually) a book based on the tattoo work he's doing. He'll be traveling around the country doing old-school tattoos and documenting the process as he learns more about the medium and the style through the experience. He's currently looking for more people who would like tattoos and would like to contribute to the project.
